Luxury Marble Plinths and Pedestals

A marble plinth does more than hold an object it defines how a space is read. Used by interior designers, stylists, and homeowners alike, our stone plinths and pedestal stands create instant architectural presence whether you are displaying a sculpture, trailing a plant, styling a marble vase, or adding a bedside surface.

Each piece is cut from solid natural stone no composite, no veneer. Choose from sleek black marble, dramatic Calacatta Viola, soft rose marble, textured travertine, or striking onyx, in heights from compact side table proportions right through to full gallery column.

Ships worldwide. Available in-store at our Sydney showroom.

We spent upwards of $10K on furniture last year and couldn’t be happier with the experience not to mention the products themselves. Costa was In constant communication with us which we appreciated even though they took longer than initially quoted. Everything is still holding up well and in great shape!! We are planning to order a few items soon so I am hoping the service is just as good this time around!

I have to admit, at first I was skeptical because the items seemed so reasonably priced, but I was quickly proven wrong after just a short conversation. We are thrilled with our custom-made Green Onyx coffee table from Elsa Home & Beauty, it truly feels like we made the perfect choice! Visiting the showroom really helped us appreciate the variety and quality of the stone options, thank you for bringing our dream piece to life!

Marble Plinths FAQ

What styles of marble plinth are available?

Our collection includes travertine, black marble, Arabescato, Calacatta Viola, rose marble, and onyx plinths — in green, pink, and candy colourways. Shapes range from square and rectangular slab plinths (which double as coffee tables) through to classic column pedestals. We also carry two-tone designs combining marble and onyx. Browse all 15 styles above, or visit our Sydney showroom to see them in person.

What are the benefits of using a marble plinth in interior design?

A marble plinth introduces vertical structure, creates a focal point, and adds genuine material weight to a room in a way that timber or metal stands cannot. Because each piece is cut from natural stone, the veining is unique — no two plinths are identical. They are also genuinely versatile: the same plinth can function as a display stand, a bedside table, a side table, or a retail feature, depending on its height and your styling. How do I choose the right size marble plinth?

The right size depends on how you plan to use it:

  • As a bedside or side table: look for 450–550mm height and a top surface of at least 250mm wide
  • To display a vase or sculpture: the plinth should be roughly one-third the height of the object sitting on top
  • As a plant stand: 400–600mm, with a wider base for stability
  • As a gallery column or statement piece: 800mm and above

Can marble plinths be customized to match my interior design style?

Absolutely! Our collection of marble plinths offers a wide range of options to suit various interior design styles and preferences. Choose from different types of marble, such as the elegant Calacatta or striking Arabescato, to align with your desired aesthetic. Additionally, customizations are available to ensure a perfect match for your space. Our team can work with you to customize the shape, size, and even the base of the plinth, tailoring it to your specific requirements. Whether you seek a sleek and modern design or a more intricate and ornate style, we can help you create a customized marble plinth that seamlessly integrates with your interior design vision, making a truly unique statement.

Are marble plinths suitable for outdoor use?

Our plinths are designed for indoor use. Prolonged outdoor exposure to moisture, UV, and temperature changes can cause staining, etching, or surface erosion over time, particularly on polished marble. Travertine handles outdoor conditions slightly better due to its matte, more porous surface, but we recommend indoor or covered placement for all pieces in this collection. For pieces designed for outdoor use, see our outdoor stone furniture collection.
