These are not faults and are inherit within the stone which stems from the time the block is extracted from the mountains in the quarry it comes from. Materials & Finishes

Breccia Pernice is a brecciated marble quarried in Italy meaning it formed from fragments of broken rock cemented together under geological pressure over millions of years, rather than through the continuous crystallisation process that creates veined marbles like Carrara or Calacatta. That formation process is what gives Breccia Pernice its distinctive mosaic-like character: irregular fragments in dusty rose, terracotta, and warm brown, set within a matrix of cream and grey mineral cement.

The warm tones the rose and terracotta hues that make this stone unusual in the marble market come from iron oxide content in the original sedimentary material. No two slabs have the same ratio of tones; some pieces read warmer and more terracotta, others softer and more blush. The piece you receive will share the same stone type and general palette as the product images but will have its own distinct character.

The surface is finished to a honed matte finish, which brings out the warmth of Breccia Pernice's palette without the reflectivity of a polished surface. The tabletop and stepped base are both fabricated from Breccia Pernice marble, giving the piece a unified, monolithic quality.

The Moroccan Pink is a square coffee table built around one of the more unusual natural stones in the market, Breccia Pernice marble, quarried in Italy, with a warm palette of dusty rose, terracotta, and rich brown tones threaded with natural white veining. It is not a stone that reads as conventional pink; it is warmer and more complex than that, sitting closer to blush and antique rose depending on the light.

The base is a stepped architectural form, a series of receding square tiers in the same Breccia Pernice stone, creating a monolithic quality where the table reads as a single sculptural object rather than a top sitting on a separate structure. That base detail is what makes this piece distinctive and is the reason it works as well as a display object as it does as a functional coffee table.
