Calacatta Viola

Calacatta Viola is quarried from a single restricted zone in the Apuan Alps in Tuscany which is part of why it looks the way it does. The base stone is a bright, cool white, and running through it are bold veins of violet and grey that form differently in every slab. No two pieces are the same. In the Caliente set, that movement reads particularly well across the triangular surface the veining follows its own geometry, independent of the table's edges.

Travertine

Travertine is formed over thousands of years around natural hot springs, which gives it the characteristic pitting and stratified layers that make it immediately recognisable. The Caliente in Travertine is the most versatile of the three. It brings texture and warmth without demanding attention, which makes it the right choice if the room already has strong elements and you want the table to complement rather than compete.

Nero Marquina

Nero Marquina comes from the Basque Country in northern Spain and is one of the few genuinely black marbles not dark grey, not charcoal, but a deep opaque black with fine white veining that runs in sharp contrast across the surface. It's a stone that reads as deliberate. In the Caliente set, the black makes the triangular geometry more pronounced the edges feel crisp, the form more architectural.
