Nero Flute Marble Desk

The Nero Flute desk combines two natural stones. The top and three-level drawer unit are Carrara marble, a cool white stone with fine, delicate grey veining quarried in Italy. The base panels are Nero Marquina, a deep black marble with dramatic white veining, finished with vertical fluting for texture and depth. Both are genuine natural stone; no engineered or composite materials are used.

The desk includes a three-level drawer unit in Carrara marble with a wood interior. The drawers sit integrated between the two Nero Marquina base panels, providing practical storage for documents, stationery, and accessories without disrupting the desk's clean silhouette. The drawer unit is positioned to the right-hand side as shown.

The vertical fluting is a carved detail applied to the Nero Marquina base panels. It creates a series of parallel ridges running the full height of the base, which adds texture, shadow depth, and a sculptural quality to the black stone surface. The fluting also catches light differently depending on the time of day, making the desk visually dynamic in a way that a flat-faced base would not be.
