These are not faults and are inherit within the stone which stems from the time the block is extracted from the mountains in the quarry it comes from. Materials & Finishes

This basin is carved from natural Italian travertine, a sedimentary limestone formed over thousands of years by mineral-rich spring water deposits. The stone is quarried in [region], where travertine has been extracted since Roman times.

Travertine's characteristic pores and channels are filled with clear resin before finishing, creating a smooth, sealed surface that maintains the stone's natural visual texture while protecting it from moisture penetration in bathroom environments. The surface is then honed to a matte finish, smooth to the touch, non-reflective, and more forgiving of everyday use than a polished finish.

Because each basin is cut from a unique section of natural stone, the exact distribution of veining, tone variation, and filled pore patterning will differ from the product images. This is not a flaw it is the defining quality of natural stone. No two basins are identical.

Available in alternative stone types on request, including Calacatta Viola, Nero Marquina, Verde Alpi, White Onyx, and Carrara marble.

The Travertine Pedestal Basin is a freestanding natural stone basin crafted from premium Italian travertine, quarried from one of the world's most historically significant stone-producing regions. With a 400mm diameter and a fully self-supporting pedestal design, this basin requires no wall fixing and installs cleanly as a standalone centrepiece in any bathroom. Waste fitting is included.

The natural travertine surface is filled with clear resin to enhance its appearance, protect the stone, and create a smooth, practical finish that is easy to maintain. Each basin is cut from a single block of travertine, meaning the veining, tone, and natural patterning is unique to every piece, no two basins are identical.

Available in a range of brassware finishes including brushed gold, matte black, and brushed stainless to complement your tapware and bathroom hardware. Custom sizing and alternative stone types including Calacatta Viola, Carrara, Nero Marquina, and Green Onyx are available on request
