These are not faults and are inherit within the stone which stems from the time the block is extracted from the mountains in the quarry it comes from. The Adamo is a Verde Guatemala green marble coffee table on four solid cylinder legs each leg carved from the same block of stone as the top, and each one extending slightly above the tabletop surface to form a raised circular accent at every corner. It is an unusual detail that references mid-century Italian furniture design and gives the table a visual precision that a standard four-leg form doesn't have.
The top surface is smooth and flat. The legs are perfectly cylindrical, their circular cross-sections visible both below the table and above it. The raised corner accents sit flush with the top's surface plane they don't interrupt the working surface but they define its edges in a way that makes the table look considered from every angle.
Verde Guatemala is quarried in Guatemala and is one of the most distinctive green marbles available a deep forest green with bold white veining that moves across the surface in sharp contrast. The same stone runs continuously from the tabletop through each leg, so the veining character is consistent throughout the entire piece.
