The New York is a marble office desk unlike most fully encapsulated in stone. The 1500mm top, the two side-by-side drawers running its full length, and the legs beneath are all carved from the same block of New York marble. There is no mixed material, no timber base, no metal frame. The desk is entirely stone from surface to floor.

New York marble also known as Lilac marble is quarried in the Milas region of Turkey. It has a pure white base with distinctive lilac and grey veining that moves across the surface in broad, cloud-like sweeps. The veining ranges from deep black to violet to lilac, creating a spider-web appearance that generates visual interest from every angle. It is highly sought after by architects and interior designers and remains one of the more unusual choices in natural stone recognisable immediately, rarely seen in furniture.

The two drawers sit side by side across the full 1500mm width of the desk not tucked to one side but integrated symmetrically into the front face, keeping the desk's proportions balanced and the surface above completely clear.

At 1500mm wide, 610mm deep and 760mm high it is a full-size working desk. Large enough for a monitor, peripherals and documents without feeling crowded.
